Star Wars

Some Kind of Boring Cabbage

Last weeks finds were most plentiful, covering the carboot on the Sunday, followed by various charity shops during the week, and seem to have found lots of things in twos! I’m most pleased with the vintage He-Man and Stormtrooper figures, an Ever After High doll for 20p and the fabulous “Boring Postcards” book!

Despicable Ever After

Some excellent dolly finds this week (Ever After High, Barbie and Disney), as well as some plush creatures (Skylanders, Dreamworks Dragons, Bugs Life & Animal Jam), plastic creatures (Despicable Me: Minions, Brave, Harry Potter, Littlest Pet Shop, Pets 2 Collect, Littlest Pet Shop) and a super Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon bag.

The Fartiest Barbie In The West

I had an excellent dolly score this week, with three Monster High dolls, a Fashionista Barbie, a One Direction doll, Chelsea and Stacie dolls, three Steffi Love dolls, a couple of Disney dolls and several Barbie and similar clothing. I also found  a Teksta robot puppy, a Five Nights at Freddy’s figure, a Chub City figure, a Fartist Club figure, and lots of other little bits and pieces. I also found Iron Maiden patch!

TrollBots: Hedgehogs In Disguise

On Thursday I took a wander into Leigh to see what I could see, and came back with three My Little Pony: The Movie figures, RoadBots, Power Rangers: Time Force, Care Bears, Zelfs and Trolls, plus and a wonderfully illustrated biology book from the 1960’s. And on Monday, I found another My Little Pony, Sonic The Hedgehog, Felix The Cat, Shnooks, a few mini items (Littlest Pet Shop, Star Wars, Disney and Moshi Monsters), a lovely illustrated children’s book, and three volumes of Golden Hands sewing magazines from the 1970’s.

Tickle Me Trooper

The Mr and I popped into Raleigh on Tuesday, and I found a Tickle Me Elmo, Lego Star Wars clock and Mort by Terry Pratchett. We needed milk on the way home, and the bus stop is right outside a charity shop. So we popped in and I found five little toys in the 10p box (including Piypon and Momiji). And after buying milk we happened to walk past another charity shop, where I found an original Furby and a Pinky Cooper doll!

Star Wars High

A couple of weeks ago I found a Lego Star Wars: Rogue One “K-2SO” figure in the Salvation Army charity shop, followed a week later by a Monster High “Geni Grant” doll. I thought it would be fun to photograph them together!

Galactic Clockwork Wars

A rummage through the rather sparse 10p toy box in the Salvation Army charity shop this week resulted in six Star Wars figures, two Battlestar Galactica figures, and a The Black Hole figure. I also found a Playmobil and similar figure, plus A Clockwork Orange by Penguin Books from their Film Classics series. Film classic finds all round!
