Sweet Secrets :: Doll Charms - 3rd Series

"An adorable transformable world!"

Sweet Secrets were produced by Galoob from 1985 into the mid 1990's. Later on, a few of Galoob's dolls and playsets were released Blue Box. They started off as a series of lockets which transformed into dolls and animals, and as they grew in popularity Sweet Secrets became more diverse, even expanded into playsets.

They were sold in the US, UK and other parts of Europe, and I currently know of one name variation:

  • UK & US: Sweet Secret
  • Italy: Dolci Segreti
  • French: Magic Secrets

Doll Charms - 3rd Series

The third series of charms to be released had off-centre jems and squiggly patterns. There were a mixture of dolls and animals, using three different body shapes (heart, square and square-ish!). They were more chunky in design than the earlier sets of charms.

Each charm came with an elastic bracelet with "Sweet Secrets" stitched into it, necklace and a hair-clip.

The dolls with the heart bodies were made using the same mould as the Beauty Bracelets, but had different faces and patterns, and all three shapes were used for the cosmetics range, only these ones had gems on their fronts and the cosmetic charms were plain.

Each of the three girl charm came in four colour variations. The three animal charms only came in one colour as far as I can tell.
